ESCO (Energy Saving Cooperation) is a financing tool that energy companies use to fully pre-finance undertakings. With this system, the costs of a project are paid for from future operational energy savings, usually within five to ten years.

With ESCO, contractors not only take on the responsibility for the implementation of projects, but provide pre-financing as well. This financing tool offers a solution for those customers who lack sufficient capital to modernise obsolete and wasteful energy systems.

Investors may finance all costs of investment from the guaranteed savings of modernization. ELMIB offers both short- and long-term pre-financing packages. With longer term financing, you can reduce your expenses considerably even in the return period. Of course, you can always choose the optimum package, which allots all savings to the reimbursement of the investment, thus optimising the repayment period of the project.
